LIPI Indonesian Institute of Sciences or the Indonesian government is the authority for science and research. This institution was founded in 1967. LIPI based in Jakarta and is headquartered in Jl Gatot Subroto No. 10 Jakarta. LIPI supported by 47 research centers in all the sciences, both social and natural sciences. The LIPI organizational structure consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Deputy, and Inspectorate. Since 2010, Chairman of LIPI Lukman Hakim. LIPI chairman assisted by five deputy, the Deputy of Earth Sciences, Deputy Science, Deputy Engineering Sciences, Deputy of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Deputy Scientific Services.
